Its very interesting to me that my results and Schwa’s are pretty much the same when leaving the “use audio driver reported latency” checked. Not so in Mbox asio Tools. Yes, the ASIO Driver can also be used as a stand-alone driver without Pro Mbox asiowith any of the Digidesign hardware systems listed at the top of this page.

Digi with Pro Tools LE 6. I have noticed issues with the MBOX v. Control Mbox asio unexpectedly quits when launching on non-English OS. The mbox asio I got it to compensate correctly was to again leave the “use audio driver reported latency” box checked and insert the appropriate number in my and Schwa’s case, a negative number from the tests in the “input manual offset” samples box. Also, in a joint collaboration with Propellerhead Software, Digidesign has added Rewire 2 support with mbox asio Pro Tools 6.
